This botanical hardly needs an introduction—our Cocoa Pods are a staple for any blackwater aquarium. Split open to create ideal shelters for fish and shrimp, these pods are perfect for an Indonesian (Sumatra) biotope or any non-region-specific blackwater setup. A favourite among our wild Betta keepers, the shelter provided by Cocoa Pods can encourage spawning and offer refuge to mouthbrooding male wild Bettas.
