Buriti Palm branches (8 Pack)
If you're looking to create a South American biotope aquascape, consider using Buriti Palm branches. The Buriti Palm are abundant in the Amazon and offer a great addition to your tank. Despite having a woody texture, they release a lot of tannins and produce biofilm which is perfect for encouraging foraging behaviour in shrimp, Plecos, Ancistrus, and other bottom-dwelling species.Â
Compared to typical blackwater aquarium branches, they are thicker and can be paired with thinner branches such as cinnamon or even accent roots to add contrast to your blackwater aquarium aquascape.
