Rolled Pulcherrima Pods (6 Pack)

Pulcherrima Pods are the dried shells of the Caesalpinia pulcherrima tree's fruit that have a twisted, woody appearance. These botanicals are great for adding the finishing touches to a blackwater aquarium aquascape. 

As with most woody botanicals, their initial release of tannins is slight. However, once they settle in the aquarium, they contribute to the tannic water colour, making them a valuable addition. As they become waterlogged, they untwist slightly, providing ideal shelters and foraging material for shrimp.
