If you want to create beautiful aquascapes for your blackwater aquarium, consider using Mokha pods. Mokha pods are a great addition to enhance any blackwater aquarium's aesthetic and are ideal for Southeast Asian biotope aquariums or vivarium's. 

Due to their woody texture, they slowly release tannins into the aquarium but over time they become an excellent contributor to the blackwater's colouration. Not only are split Mokha pods aesthetically pleasing, but they also double up as hideaways for small fish and make for excellent foraging for shrimp and bottom-dwelling species.
